SHEIN Favorites!
I am ALL about finding sales and deals and getting great quality products for as little as possible and when I came across SHEIN I was intrigued yet skeptical. There are so many products on the site and the products are so dang cheap that I was unsure of whether it was actually legit and thought it had to be too good to be true!
After doing some serious research and watching TONS of Youtube videos on the brand and what their customers thought of the items, I decided to place my first order. This was probably about two years ago and I only bought two things on the site so I could try them out and see if it was worth my money.
I had heard mixed reviews regarding shipping and the quality of the products and was EXTREMELY surprised when my items were on my doorstep in a week and a half after ordering them! The products themselves did not disappoint and are items I still wear to this day and I have washed and dried multiple times and they still look freakin’ amazing!
I have been placing multiple orders since then and have started shopping on the site more frequently and have found some serious gems! I will admit, there have been a couple things that I have been disappointed in the quality/sizing of but they are still products I will use and they were so dang cheap that as long as I can get a couple uses out of them, I ain’t mad!
SHEIN also has a great return policy if you ever need to return anything. I honestly haven’t been disappointed enough to return anything! So that’s just a little back story on how I came across this brand and my thoughts on what I’ve received so far
ADVICE FOR SHOPPING SHEIN:
READ THE REVIEWS! I cannot reiterate this enough! This is how I find all of the products I purchase through SHEIN. If the product only has a couple reviews, I tend to not buy it. I look at reviews for sizing, fit, and quality of the product! If the item has lots of positive reviews then that indicates that it’s a product that is worth my money!
- LOOK AT THE REVIEWS WITH IMAGES! I always filter through the reviews to show the reviews that contain images! Some individuals will post pictures of them wearing the item or post pictures of it fresh out of the package. This helps me determine if it’s a product I would actually utilize and seeing it on someone may either indicate I should buy it or make me realize it may not fit my body type! I always look at these for dresses especially so I can see the length of the dresses since I am a bit taller. It also helps me to determine if the color is accurate and is a match to what the SHEIN site posted for the image
- SIZE UP IN SWIMSUITS! I can speak from experience on this one! I have been ordering quite a few swimsuits for my upcoming trips and noticed that in most of them, I wish I had sized up! I did read the reviews and was on the fence about sizing up but definitely wished I had for a couple of them! I usually wear a size Medium in clothing and definitely like the way the swimsuits feel when I order a size Large much better!
- LEAVE REVIEWS! If you’re constantly reading reviews to determine if you’re going to buy something on the site then I suggest leaving reviews! Leave your honest opinion on how the product fit, the overall quality of the product, whether the material and color was accurate, and whether it was True To Size or ran big or small! A HUGE PERK TO LEAVING REVIEWS IS YOU EARN POINTS TOWARDS YOUR NEXT ORDER! I left reviews on 8 different products and earned some “SHEIN points” which discounted my next order! It was so easy and was probably helpful for those viewing the product after me!
